Re: Karnataka in talks to ban mahseer angling This has been there for quite sometime now. According to the petitioner C & R fishing is similar to hunting. People who go to cauvery for game fishing release big fishes and they are actually helping the economy grow. I am against this ban since local fishermen and illegal exploitation is much more than game fishing in cauvery.
