 Spicy Cuttlefish recipe
Ingredients 1) 500g cuttlefish(cleaned, scored and cut into slices) 2) 3 onions } 3) 12 red chillies (seeded) } grounded 4) 4 dried chillies (soaked)} 5) corriander leaves (chopped) 6) 125g grated coconut( squeezed into milk) oil for frying
SEASONING INGREDIENTS 1) salt 1 tsp tamarind 2) 11/2 tsp sugar
Preparation 1) heat 65 tbsp oil in deep pan. Stir-fry cuttlefish quickly. Remove and drain. Set aside. 2) Reduce heat and add grounded paste and fry 3) Add cuttlefish and stir half coconut milk.Add on the seasoning ingredients 4) pour remaining coconut milk and bring to boil
Tips add hot water to coconut before squeezing out.Doing this increases coconut milk even if little water is added
