Max size : 26.0 cm TL (male/unsexed; Ref. 244); 29 cm TL (female)
Environment : bathydemersal ; depth range 200 - 403 m
Climate : deep-water; 15°N - 5°N
Global Importance : fisheries: of no interest
Resilience: Low, minimum population doubling time 4.5 - 14 years (Fec assumed to be Distribution : Indian Ocean: southeastern India and the Andaman Islands.
Diagnosis :
Biology : Found on the upper continental slopes. Feeds on small fishes, squid and crustaceans. Mode of development uncertain. Not utilized at present
